Situated just on the outskirts of Edinburgh overlooking the Firth of Forth it was opened in 2003 and there is extensive on site parking for both cars and coaches.
In 2003 it was awarded "Best New Hostel in the World" by Hostelworld.com and has been in the top 10 in the world twice since then.
It has been graded as a 4 star hostel by Visit Scotland.
